Product Data
Caulking / Mastic

Caulking is a heavy bodied, elastomeric patching compound.  This trowel-grade material fills cracks and termination points and seals around roof openings and protrusions.
It creates durable, waterproof seams.  Used alone or used with Base Coat, Finish Coast; it adds years of life to water tight surfaces.
Caulking used with mesh fabric creates extra reinforcement to structural stress areas.

As these areas expand and contract in response to various weather conditions, so will the Caulking.
It is elastomeric, remaining flexible in weather down to -20 degree Fahrenheit.
Caulking is easy to apply with a bulk caulking gun, trowel, putty knife or roofing brush.  Cleanup is easy too, with just warm water and soap.

Features

Elastomeric
Caulking rubber like, elastic consistency permits it to remain flexible in the most severe weather conditions, down to -20 degree Fahrenheit.  It expands and contracts with the surface surrounding it.

Waterproof
Caulking not only fills leaking cracks and seems to prevent them from further leaking, but also inherently prevents leakage by being a waterproofing material itself.  It adds years of life to water tight surfaces.

Adhesion
It bonds tenaciously to all properly prepared surfaces.  Susceptibility to intercoat leakage and breakdown does not exist.

The tight bond between Caulking and Base Coast makes it impossible to separate at the layer junctions.

Reinforcement
When used with mesh fabric, Caulking creates optima reinforcement for cracks, joints and other high stress areas.

10 Year Warranty
Caulking is warranted for ten years from the date of application.

Ready to Use/Easy Application
Caulking is ready to use. Apply with a bulk caulking gun, trowel, putty, knife or roofing brush.

Base Coat

Base Coat is an elastomeric, waterproofing roofing material. Ideal for reroofing and new roofs, this rubber like film encapsulates and seals surfaces to prevent leaks.  It can be used for industrial, commercial, residential and agricultural applications.

The copolymer acrylic liquid compound produces a tough, durable finish that forms a barrier against weather and chemical deterioration.

Base Coat's elastic, self-flashing film conforms to any shape.  The film elongates up to 400 percent of its original length without cracking.

It withstands the most severe weather conditions, remaining pliable to -20 degree Fahrenheit, and responds to surface expansion and contraction.

Base Coast is easy to apply with brush, roller, or heavy duty spray equipment.

Features

Elastomeric
Base Coat's elastic film can be bent, twisted or stretched repeatedly without failure.  It has a high-film build for superior durability and versatility.  Its rubber like consistency permits conformity to any shape.  Base Coat remains flexible down to -20 degree Fahrenheit.

Waterproof
A seamless, self-flashing weather barrier.  Base Coat prevents water leakage.  It seals surfaces and bridges cracks and defects.

Adhesive
Adhesion to any properly prepared surface is outstanding.  Additional layers of Base Coat applied to previous layers are impossible to separate at the junction of each layer.

Chemical and Weather Resistant
Base Coat is resistant to common industrial chemicals, acid rain and other VOC compounds.  it exceeds 2,000 hours of accelerated weathering exposure using ultraviolet light and water condensation.

Ready to Use/Easy Application
Base Coat requires no mixing. No mess. Just stir and it is ready for application.  Apply with brush, roller or heavy-duty spray equipment.  Base coat is applied in two coats.  Gray Base Coat is applied first to absorb the sun for faster drying and to provide better contrast to the second Base Coat which is normally white.

Lightweight
Base coat adds only 23 pounds per 100 square feet to the roof load.  No ballast is required.

Where to Use
Built-up roofs, metal roofs, flat roofs, asphalt shingles, roll roofing, mobile home roofs, barn roofs, dormer roofs, concrete decks, plywood, decks, parapets, around vents, chimneys, skylights and solar panels, urethane foam, siding fascia, restrooms, showers and lining gutters.

Product Availability
Base Coat is available in one, five and fifty-five gallon sizes in white, grey, and black.

10 Year Warranty
Base Coat is warranted for ten years from the date of application.
